Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Cleaning of the warehouse.
• Assisting with the checking if orders (stock).
• Assisting within the assemblies department with the assembly of stock items when assigned.
• Conducting First check on all Johannesburg orders and ensuring that all items are correctly picked/check and/or packed as per the picking ticket and/or invoice.
• Ensuring that checking/picking tickets are correctly signed off and that the quantity of stock matches the picking/checking ticket.
• Assist with the packing of orders when required.
• Assist with the packing of received shipments or returned stock onto shelves.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks, requests or instructions by management in order to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Assist in the general housekeeping and cleaning of the warehouse – tasks might be assigned by the warehouse manager(s) or senior management and may do so at their discretion.
• Emptying of bins and empty boxes placed in the isles of the warehouse – all emptied boxes are to be destroyed and then placed into the big bin outside.
• Ensure picking tickets are completed correctly and that date and time of completion is correctly recorded.
• Assist in the repackaging of old/damaged stock.
• Picking customer and branch orders as per the standard operation procedures and training.
• Ensure orders are being accurately and timeously picked.
• Assisting with the checking of stock orders when required.
• Assist with the wrapping of pallets when required.
• Assist in the offloading of containers shipments.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts.
• Perform any reasonable tasks, requests or instructions by management in order to achieve the company’s objective.
