INTRODUCTION
For an 18-month internship, our Boksburg-based engineering client is looking for a recently qualified Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (BEng Mechanical Engineering) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (BSc (Eng) Mechanical Engineering) recent graduate to join their team.
The chosen applicant should be driven to begin their engineering career in a fast-paced, technical setting and eager to obtain real-world experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Help senior engineers with technical drawing analysis, calculations, and design work.
Lead negotiations with potential customers and make outbound sales calls.
Create project plans and oversee their execution appropriately.
Verify adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Participate in ongoing professional development by receiving training and mentoring.
Under supervision, offer technical assistance and troubleshooting.
Take part in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of the project.
To assist ongoing projects, conduct technical reporting, data analysis, and research.
Requirements
earned a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
a project planning certificate or a finished project planning course.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
A driver’s license is necessary.
Basic familiarity with engineering design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or comparable software is beneficial).
willingness to work on-site or travel if necessary.
