INTRODUCTION
This course teaches you how to package goods using automated packaging machinery while upholding standards for quality, safety, and health. For line coordination and operation, you will gain mechanical maintenance skills, business knowledge, and effective communication.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow operational plans when carrying out cleaning and general line operations.
Verify equipment and area cleanliness and safety in accordance with SOPs by conducting pre-start-up inspections.
Check the quality of the product and packaging against predetermined standards, and report any issues right away.
To avoid escalation, identify process anomalies and take prompt corrective action.
Clean equipment in accordance with site requirements and manufacturer’s instructions.
Prepare and inspect raw materials for use in production.
Ensure team and individual safety while working on the production line.
Make a proactive contribution to a sustainable and eco-friendly workplace.
Adhere to all learnership requirements, including assignments, logbook completion, and assessments.
Requirements
A National Senior Certificate (Matric) with a pass in Mathematics and Science is required, or an N2/N3/N4 Engineering qualification.
