Responsibilities
Help trained technicians with diesel equipment and vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
Under supervision, assist with fault-finding and diagnostic tasks.
As instructed, carry out simple mechanical operations and component replacements.
Keep workshop spaces, tools, and equipment organized and safe.
Always adhere to health and safety protocols.
Complete maintenance records and basic job cards accurately.
Take part in programs for on-the-job training and development.
When needed, assist with general workshop tasks.
Requirements
Matric certificate (essential).
Currently enrolled in or working towards a Diesel Mechanic trade certificate (preferred).
Basic mechanical knowledge and strong interest in diesel mechanics.
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
Good work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team environment
